smplayer don't resume file when i play it again next time .

There was a change in smplayer.desktop. Maybe it's because of that.

Does this problem happen if you play a file by using the Open -> File option in smplayer?

Then edit /usr/share/applications/smplayer.desktop (or wherever it's installed on your system) and change the line "Exec=smplayer %U" with "Exec=smplayer %f" and it should work as before.

I think I have to fix smplayer to recognize the "file:///..." as local files.

what is a local file for smplayer ? i test with a file in my Home, and it's do nothing.

A local file is something that is in the file system. For instance dvd://1 or http://... is not a local file.

BTW, in svn 3532 I added a fix for the problem. Now you shouldn't need to modify smplayer.desktop, smplayer should recognize now files starting with file:// as a local files, so resume would work now.
