Maybe an option can be added for this.
I was trying to find out how to change the OSD size without changing the subtitle size, and sorta found the right answer. When using -subfont-osd-scale had to add -subfont-autoscale 0.
-subfont-autoscale 0 -subfont-osd-scale 12
Works on MPlayer and MPlayer2.
