This has been happening recently for me. Especially when I installed the newer version of SMPlayer 0.8.2 64 bit. The video plays fine with MPC-HC 64 bit though.

Pink Subtitles

I had the same problem as him. Not only the pinky pixelated subtitles, some of the subtitles not even appeared and the karaoke effect is blinking occasionally. At first, I thought this issue may tightly linked to subtitle error but when I checked the subtitle file, nothing is wrong. Then, I'm installed the previous one which is SMPlayer 0.8.1 and the problem is totally vanished into thin air.

Went back to 0.8.1 64 bit and can also confirm the problem is nonexistent. The pink around the subtitles is gone.

Mplayer bug.

Some builds with the fixed pink subtitles: https://sourceforge.net/projects/smplay ... /Unstable/ Either MPlayer r35712 from mplayer or smplayer-0.8.3.4977 installers will install with it.
