SMPlayer and laserdiscs? anyone do this? or have advice?
Posted: Tue Oct 06, 2015 9:05 amLately I have been learning how to configure and use SMplayer and I have noticed that this program has many features that can be used to possibly deinterlace and comb a 480 I signal from a laserdisc player. I was wondering If anyone has used SMplayer for this and has any advice on how to configure it and set it up. any pointers would be great from anything from proper video capture and using the deinterlacing and combing features. I also noticed in the audio options that there is a AC3DTS/SPDIF passthrough option what is that about? can this program possibly demodulate and decode a AC3 signal from a laserdisc player? thank you and hope to hear from some people.
