Just hangs...

I'm using Windows7-64, with the latest smplayer-64.
If I'm playing any video, smplayer hangs on closing. Sometimes it hangs for 20 secs+.
Once in a while, I have to kill it in task manager, in order to close it.
This has been happening through all versions, and I thought I'd finally ask about this.
Been using smplayer for years.
Is there something in the way I may have it configured, that could cause this?

Any help/ideas appreciated... thanks!

Is there any error message when that happens?

Nothing... just hangs open, any video codec/container... short, low res, or hi res large files, it does the same thing.
Always at least 5 seconds.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Does it hang even if you don't play any video?

Sorry for delayed reply.
No, if I just open smp, & close without opening a video, it closes normally.
Otherwise, it hangs when I try to close it. I tried stopping video, then closing... or closing video. Hangs.

Thanks again!

Try to change the video output in preferences -> general -> video. Maybe the default video output is causing problems to the driver of your graphic card. If that doesn't work, try also changing the audio output.

I've tried different configs, of audio & video. Same thing.
Thanks for trying!

Could you try to change the "multimedia engine" in preferences -> general?

It happens with both mpv & mplayer.
I've attached the smplayer log... maybe it shows you something?

Thanks again!

The log doesn't show any error.

Anyway to disable the option to use the CoreAVC codec in preferences -> interface.
