How to unload a playlist

Is there a way to do this? Playlists seem to be persistent between executions of SMPlayer. It gets in the way of playing other single videos outside the scope of the playlist.

In the playlist, select the "remove" button and then select "remove all".

That option just removes the list from the memory.
