Smplayer a trojan agent ?

For some reason malwarebytes keeps on calling Smplayer.exe a trojan.agent can you tell me why this is happening ...

I don't know.
If you don't trust the smplayer binaries, you can always get the sources and compile it yourself.

I just dont understand why malwarebytes is saying that it keeps on putting the exe in quarantine and if I try to restore it the program dont work anymore . Can you contact malwarebytes and ask them why this is happening and to stop it ..
