Control does not animate when going away

But when it goes away it just goes away without animation.
Perhaps it would look nice to also have it animated when it goes away.
Also i noticed the time for how long it should stay is in milliseconds and when i use the up and down arrows it changes
+1 or -1 milliseconds which makes it kind of useless.
Perhaps it could change +/-100 milliseconds instead.
