SMPlayer Support Forum

For videos with resolutions which exceed the ones from my monitor i get black bars, and if I'm using compact mode a little part of the video gets out of sight, it's a minor thing but I find it very annoying, there's a fix for this? Thanks in advance.
Anyway, using mpv on his own window get it right.

Here some examples.

The title must be "SMplayer add unnecesary black bars". I talked with developer about this issue and he can't fix by the moment.
The interesting thing is mpv player (the core of SMplayer) doesn't do that, as you saw.
