SMPlayer 17.10.0 - MPV no longer working with Vista

It should be noted in the latest changes that mpv now makes a call to BCryptDeriveKeyPBKDF2 which isn't available on Vista. This leads to mpv crashing whenever trying to play a video.

Does this mean the end of Vista support for SMPlayer?

SMPlayer 17.10 includes a new version of mpv (0.27). I don't use Windows Vista anymore so I wasn't aware there was a problem with it.
Does it work if you change the multimedia engine to mplayer in Preferences -> General?

Yes, mplayer works perfectly. However I had to manually edit the player in the config file since mpv throws up an error dialog whenever I try to access the Preferences.

Edit: Vista has been abandoned by just about everybody at this point so I understand that completely and I wouldn't blame you for dropping support. It's about time I fork out for a new Windows license anyways. :-)
