Hi,
This did not happen before:
Whenever I pause the playback, smplayer screen turns black. This way also the screenshots show only black pictures. It happens with all movie clips I'm playing. VLC does not have thsi problem, so I assume it is not a driver based problem.

Version: 17.11.2 (Revision 8807)
Qt 4.8.7 (compiled with Qt 4.8.7)
MPlayer SVN r37540 is used

I can't reproduce this problem.

Try selecting a different video output in preferences -> general -> video, or change the multimedia engine to mpv in preferences -> general.
