Hi,
I do not know why YouTube plays video at a maximum resolution of 720P. I tried different settings, but nothing helps. It's weird, because the other computer with SMPlayer plays 1080P without problems (mpv + yt-dl). The only differences are CPU and GPU. The one that works is N3150 and integrated graphics, the other is the old Athlon 64 X2 5000+ and GT 1030. On GT 1030, mvp + yt-dl does not work at all.
Win10, SMPlayer 17.11.0-x64

You need to use the option mpv + yt-dl but it's also necessary to have installed a recent version of youtube-dl. To be sure, reinstall smplayer, the installer will download the very latest version of youtube-dl.

I have this message after the new installation:
"The code execution cannot proced because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
Reinstallation does not help.
Btw. the next difference is inactive windows 10 on a PC with GT 1030.

I think you need to install the Microsoft Visual C ++ 2010 Redistributable Package.
