Hi.

I'm using SMPlayer 18.2.2-1~artful1 on Kubuntu 17.10, through official PPA.
smi subtitle files are not automatically loaded, but srt files are.

It worked fine(I'm not sure, but until 17.x ?).
I tried all options(3 options) in Subtitle section, but nothing works.

I hope you to take a look.

Thanks in advance.

The subtitles are actually loaded by mplayer or mpv.

What version of mplayer or mpv are you using? (You can see it in Help -> About SMPlayer)

Thank you for your reply.
I'm using mpv, version 0.26.0.

By the way, there is no "Help" section in the context menu(is it the right term?).
I prefer 'Compact Mode', and could not choose Help menu when I'm in Compact mode.
I hope Help menu is added in the context menu too.

I've just installed mpv 0.27.0+git2~zzartful through PPA(ppa:mc3man/mpv-tests).
Problem solved.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
