Exprerimental Lirc Support patch/feature

Postby kernel_daemon » Fri Apr 30, 2010 9:53 am

Hi to all,
Attached is my try to make a native lirc support for smplayer. :)
In the archive there are some files.
1. smplayer_lirc.diff - the patch for the latest svn revision.
2. infrared-remote.png - an image which has to be copied to src/icons-png
These two files are mandatory for the patch to work.

The two conf files are ubuntu lirc specific and are for people that have no remote control but would like to test the feature with irsend command from the lirc package.

test.btns is an example for already assigned buttons from the remote control to the actions in smplayer.

To compile this patch you need at least qt 4.4.
The patch should work under windows too with WinLirc, but because my development platform is linux I haven't test it under windows.
Any suggestions and bug reporting are highly appreciated. :)

I just found this patch. Is it going to be accepted in smplayer?
