Problem with the latest release 16.1 on Ubuntu Precise

Hi,

After updating yesterday I ran into following problems with my system:

1) After reboot, some of the fonts started looking weired, specially the ones related to conky's.
So I tried to fix them with 'fc-cache', however it's failed with lot of error messages. Upon investigation it's turns out due to the new package "fontconfig_2.11.0-1~precise1".

So I downgrade the fontconfig (and related packages) to the old packages. This partially solves the problem as it seems that new package is dependency of MPV now, so I'm currently unable to install MPV.

Please see if you could do anything on this, at least remove that dependency issue so I can use MPV again.

Thanks.

The version of libass included in mpv 0.15 requires a newer version of fontconfig. That's why mpv depends on that version of fontconfig.

The only solution would be to uninstall mpv and use an older version.

I'll try to build version 0.14 or an older one which doesn't need a new version of fontconfig for the PPA.

I was able to build mpv 0.15 using an older version of libass, so now a newer version of fontconfig is not needed.
