I am making a project for an "house" where lives older people. I make televison with two Raspberry Pi's. But it is for me unpossible to play video not using Kodi and what i want does not work maybe i do not know how to let it work. So i both a Rock64 wich seems to do what I want. Only a problem, I want programm in crontab that het SMplayer start to play a videofile. When i do this on teh commandline perfect but I can get the seem result as I use it on teh commandline.Do you have a solution for this, or an other programm that can work with it ? Thanks you make m but most important a lot off people hap py. Gretings WIM.

I treid on the commandline ( mplayer Leiden.mp4 ) and it works, when I put this in a script it worked too, but when I make a line in Crontab calling the scipt ....blank screen cannot go farder.
